The aftermath of Hurricane Harvey has left a large number of our Gulf Coast neighbors in desperate need of household essentials. In the wake of such devastation, The Grove feels the urgency to act and contribute in any way we can. We’re grateful to have the resources to send a large shipment of necessities to victims affected by this disaster. However, this is a drop in the bucket when compared to the road that lies ahead towards recovery. That is why we’re reaching out to our local community and asking you to join in our efforts to try to assist those who have been afflicted the most.
In preparation for the long-haul and in collaboration with Platten Law Firm, we’re accepting donations starting this week until the foreseeable future to send shipments of supplies to the Houston Convention Center. If you’d like to participate, bring your contribution to our location and drop off in the Grab N’ Go Market. Some of the most pressing items include:
- Packages of socks, underwear, t-shirts for men, women, children
- Diapers, wipes, canned formula, baby food (not in glass jars)
- Feminine hygiene products
- Canned food not requiring can opener or cooking
- Bottled water.
If you have any question regarding your donation please call 903-939-0209 ext 101. We’re also extending our property wide 30% off discount on final purchases to evacuees.
